The AVT was an external unit used by radio amateurs to transmit and receive SSTV (Slow Scan TV) pictures via shortwave radio. It was very successful in the US until Black Belt sold the rights to another company (Advanced Electronic Applications). European buyers were quite unhappy because the promised software version for PAL Amigas, never materialised.
