Ateobus: Uses an Ateobus slot, a custom expansion bus based on ISA by Ateo Concepts.
CD32 Rear Expansion Slot: 182pin Expansion connector found at the back of the CD32.
Clock Port: Connects to the Clock Port found in most A1200s and on some expansion cards.
CPU Fast Slot (A2000): Uses the 86pin CPU bus expansion slot, as found in the A2000 series.
CPU Fast Slot (A3000/A4000): Uses 200pin CPU bus expansion slot, as found in the A3000/A4000.
CPU Socket: Plugs into the processor's socket, or clips over the processor.
DB15: Connects to a 15pin video connector, commonly found on graphics and video cards
DB9: Connects to a 9pin video connector, commonly found on older graphics and video cards
Dracobus: Uses a Dracobus slot, a custom expansion bus used in the Draco series of machines by MacroSystem.
Floppy Drive Port: Connects to the 23pin external floppy drive port, as found on most Amigas.
Front Memory Slot: Uses the memory slot found on the front of the A1000.
IDE: Connects directly to an IDE (ATA) bus, usually via a 44pin 2.5" connector, or 40pin 3.5" connector
ISA: Connects an 8bit or 16bit ISA slot. ISA slots or not active on Amigas, therefore most ISA cards are Brigeboards or simply use the slot for power.
Keyboard Socket: Plugs into the keyboard connector, or AUX port.
Kickstart Socket: Plugs into the ROM sockets. The Amiga ROM is known as Kickstart.
Mouse/Joystick: Plugs into a mouse or joystick port. Usually DB9 ports, but not always.
Other: Hardware which does not have a connection as such or which does not fit into the other categories.
Parallel Port: Plugs into a DB25 Parallel Port, either the built-in port, or a port on an expansion.
PCI: Plugs into a standard 32bit PCI slot. PCI is not native, but usually available on modern busboards.
PCI (Custom): Connects to a non-standard PCI slot. For example, the local PCI bus on some graphics cards.
PCMCIA: The PCMCIA "Card Slot" as found on the A600 and A1200.
SCSI: Connects directly to the SCSI bus, via any of the multitude of SCSI connector types.
Serial Port: Plugs into a DB9 or DB25 Serial Port, either the built-in port, or a port on an expansion.
Side Expansion Slot: The 86pin slot found on the side of the A500/+ and A1000. The A1000's slot is on the opposite side to the A500/+.
Trapdoor Slot (A1200): The 150pin expansion slot found underneath the A1200.
Trapdoor Slot (A500/+): The 56pin expansion slot found underneath the A500/+.
Trapdoor Slot (A600): The 40pin expansion slot found underneath the A600.
Unknown: It is not known where the hardware connects.
Video Slot: Connects to the internal video slot. There are 3-types, "Genlock Slot" (8bit video), OCS/ECS style (12bit video) and AGA style (18bit video + audio) with various degrees of compatibility between each.
Video Socket: Connects to the 23pin Amiga RGB/Video port.
Zorro Auto Sensing: The card automatically detects the Zorro bus version. It operates as a Zorro II card on a Zorro II bus, but works in Zorro III mode on a Zorro III bus.
Zorro II: The standard 100pin expansion slots found in older big box Amigas. Can only use Zorro II cards.
Zorro III: The standard 100pin expansion slots found in newer big box Amigas. Can use both Zorro II and Zorro III cards.
Zorro IV: A 3rd party custom bus which shares little with Zorro II & III nor is it compatible with them.
